Lora Reece focuses her practice in the area of complex commercial litigation. In this capacity, she has been involved in all phases of trial and appellate advocacy, as well as in the arbitration and mediation of disputes. With a pragmatic approach, Lora provides clients with strategies that will meet their goals as efficiently as possible.

Lora has significant experience managing both small- and large-scale e-discovery projects on a wide scope of matters. She is well-versed in all phases of e-discovery management, including preservation, collection, review, production and trial presentation. Lora currently serves on the LexisNexis Client Advisory Board, an organization that brings together litigation attorneys from Am Law 100 firms to discuss emerging trends and best practices relating to e-discovery and large-scale litigation management. Through her involvement, she stays current on the technologies, best practices and processes needed to efficiently manage both large and small matters.

  • Currently representing a commercial and military aerospace component manufacturer in a post-closing purchase price dispute.
  • Played a major role on a team that secured the dismissal of multiple business tort and contractual claims brought against a multinational manufacturer.
  • Responsible for researching and drafting a dispositive motion that secured summary judgment on behalf of a global oil, gas and petrochemical company in a dispute with its lessee distributors. The case was ultimately reviewed and upheld by the Ohio Supreme Court, setting precedent critical to the client's business model.
