Focusing his practice on patent procurement, Mark Mashack draws on his more than nine years of experience in patent office practice, including experience as a primary patent examiner and as a patent agent at a large intellectual property boutique. He advanced through the ranks of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) while examining patent applications directed to medical devices. Since leaving the USPTO, he has used his experience navigating patent office procedures to counsel a range of clients, including Fortune 100 companies and startups. With a background in a variety of engineering disciplines, Mark understands his clients’ needs in developing strong patent portfolios.
