Overview

Megan Fields is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on labor and employment matters. She defends employers and managers in wide-ranging employment and labor issues. She provides litigation avoidance and compliance guidance to clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to smaller family-owned businesses. Megan’s extensive litigation background includes more than a dozen successful jury verdicts in both state and federal courts. Megan previously served as an assistant Commonwealth’s attorney as well as a law clerk for the Kentucky Court of Appeals.

Select Experience

  • Successfully litigated a nationwide decertified collective action, representing all litigants from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, involving claims under the FLSA and state wage and hour laws.
  • Achieved a successful federal jury verdict in a multiweek trial on behalf of a client accused of mishandling prescription narcotics. The case involved voluminous discovery of more than 10,000 patients’ records and spanned several years of activity.
