Overview

Michael Werner focuses his litigation practice primarily on complex commercial and class action litigation. He has been actively involved in all stages of litigation, including filing and responding to complaints, completing discovery, briefing dispositive motions, preparing witnesses for deposition and trial, and appeals. A proactive and outcome-oriented advocate, Michael works closely with clients to develop efficient strategies that allow clients to focus on their business goals. Michael has worked with clients to design dispute resolution systems which allow for and encourage the resolution of conflicts before litigation becomes necessary.

Recognitions and Memberships

Pro Bono

  • Obtained a successful ruling in a post-conviction murder appeal, finding that the client’s statement to police was involuntary and should have been suppressed at trial.
