Overview

Mitchell Oates focuses his practice on antitrust, intellectual property and other complex commercial litigation, with experience representing diverse corporate clients, including those in the pharmaceutical, aviation, financial and music industries. A versatile attorney, Mitchell places a high value on efficiency and creative strategies in addressing clients' needs.

Before going to law school, Mitchell was a researcher in a behavioral neuroscience lab at the University of Michigan and then completed a master's degree in neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. Because of Mitchell's broad scientific background, he has often been called upon in connection with clients' litigation and pre-litigation matters involving technical subject matters.
