Nicole holds many certifications, including as a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS), a certified user in LAW PreDiscovery EDD, a Concordance certified software trainer, and in legal project management through Thomson Reuters.

  • Advisor to attorneys and clients on international and complex, large-scale matters, on the complete life cycle of discovery including data mapping, identification, preservation, collection and database administration. 
  • Was one of the principal technology architects of the systems required to support the litigation connected to BakerHostetler’s representation of Irving H. Picard, the court-appointed Trustee under the Securities Investor Protection Act in the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC. The massive nature of the fraud required a similar response to its recovery and the Trustee’s Madoff Recovery Initiative brought forth innovative and never-seen-before technological tools to support the massive discovery effort required for both rebuilding and understanding  the decades-long Ponzi scheme.

  • Designer and manager of bespoke technology-based solutions for legal matters with a team of developers and staff. These platforms continue to develop organically with continued enhancements as the needs of the cases reveal themselves over time and currently include client portals, data rooms, tracking systems and information-flow systems. These customized and innovative solutions work to ensure that clients’ needs are thoroughly served. 
  • Consult and assist case teams in preparation of trial, including preparation of trial exhibits and demonstratives, setup and wiring of courtroom and war room technology, and support for daily in-courtroom presentations.
