  • Represented a major book retailer against antitrust charges brought by independent booksellers, resulting in a favorable defense verdict.
  • Represented trademark licensors in disputes regarding the termination of licensees and obtained favorable determinations for clients.
  • Represented an international apparel company against charges of trademark infringement in a federal lawsuit, resulting in the dismissal of a vast majority of claims.
  • Represented an international footwear manufacturer in a copyright infringement lawsuit which resulted in summary judgment knocking out most of the plaintiff's damages claims, which led to a favorable settlement.
  • Represented an international apparel company in a dispute with a licensee over the termination of its license, obtaining an arbitration award in the client's favor and defeating the licensee's counterclaims. 
  • Represented a national uniform supplier in various lawsuits brought against a labor union for improper conduct, including a successful class action lawsuit against the labor union, resulting in a multimillion-dollar settlement.

Pro Bono

  • Represented a same-sex couple in a fight for in vitro fertilization after the only facility on the couple’s health plan refused to perform the procedure on religious grounds. Resulted in a favorable determination by the California Supreme Court.
