Teresa Goody Guillén Quoted Extensively in Article About Expected Increase in Federal Crypto Prosecutions

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has formed the Digital Assets Coordinator Network and federal enforcement actions are expected to rise, according to “DOJ’s 150 Designated Crypto Prosecutors ‘Eager to Make Their Mark’ on Digital Assets Law,” an analysis published Sept. 26, 2022, in The American Lawyer.

Partner Teresa Goody Guillén told the publication her clients are “likely to assume the worst from any interaction with a regulator or government lawyer,” due to the “aggressive tone” being taken by the DOJ, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Biden Administration.
