Overview

TC Clare brings decades of engineering and business strategy experience to his patent prosecution legal practice. Trained in integrated circuit design at the University of Pennsylvania and armed with game strategy and portfolio management skills acquired at Yale, TC drives deep to elucidate the technological and market strategic issues that drive prudent investments in developing patent portfolios, guarding trade secrets and protecting shareholder returns on net asset investments in technological ventures.

The depth of his technical experience – from DARPA research initiatives to NATO weapons platforms development – allows TC to quickly assimilate client technologies and push forward to cooperatively exploring their strategic horizons and future market business opportunities. From a deep knowledge of clients’ technologies and goals, he then formulates patent and litigation strategies best fitting budgets and opportunities. TC is often called upon to consult on litigation on which technological insight or engineering investigation are needed.
