Veterans Day 2017

It was the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 when the hostilities ceased in World War I. One year later, the Treaty of Versailles was signed and what was known as the Great War was officially over.

One year later, with our firm’s founder, Newton D. Baker, serving as Secretary of War, the country celebrated its first Armistice Day. Renamed Veterans Day in 1954, November 11 reminds us of the millions of men and women, along with their families, who selflessly serve our country each and every day so we can do what we do each and every day.

We’re so proud to honor the nearly 70 veterans at BakerHostetler who have served in Vietnam, Haiti, Bosnia, the Gulf War, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

To all of our nation’s veterans and their families, thank you for your service and sacrifice. We appreciate all that you continue to do for our country.
