Overview

As the holder of patents in chemistry herself, Yuqi Li has first-hand knowledge of all stages of the patent process. Her experience includes working on a variety of intellectual property issues (patent prosecution/litigation) and assisting with LLC formation documents, trademark applications, sales contracts and licensing agreements.

Yuqi is a synthetic chemist with multidisciplinary knowledge covering chemistry, physics and material science, with more than 10 years of experience in organometallic chemistry, multi-step organic and inorganic synthesis, polypeptide and hydrogel synthesis, and the chemical vapor deposition of organometallics for semiconductor devices.

Select Experience

Intellectual Property Technology

  • Managed chemical vapor deposition invention disclosure database and patent portfolio.

Research

  • Synthesized and analyzed organic and organometallic precursors for semiconductor processes, evaluated their deposition properties for thin films by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and scaled up synthetic procedures to manufacture chemical precursors for semiconductor manufacturers.
