Carl Hittinger, Tyson Herrold Examine Antitrust Case to be Decided by Supreme Court

Partner Carl Hittinger and Associate Tyson Herrold authored an article published by The Legal Intelligencer on Nov. 6, 2017. The article, “Supreme Court to Decide First Antitrust Case in Two Years,” analyzes United States v. American Express, which will be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court in the 2017 term. The case involves complex questions about the legality of anti-steering provisions in agreements between credit card companies and merchants. It will also be the first antitrust case to be joined by new Justice Neil Gorsuch, who is an antitrust expert.
