Partners David Rivkin and Andrew Grossman authored a commentary published by The Wall Street Journal on Feb. 22, 2018. The article, “Mark Janus Was with Hillary, Whether or Not He Wanted to Be,” argues the position that public-sector employees who are not union members are unfairly forced to fund union advocacy through mandatory fees. The U.S. Supreme Court has recently heard arguments regarding this issue in the matter of Janus v. American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Council 31.
