Partner James Sherer and Counsel Scott Koller authored an article published in the April-June 2017 issue of Risk and Compliance Magazine. The article, titled “A Strategist’s Data Security Considerations for Merger and Acquisition Due Diligence,” focuses on issue of data security in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture and asset purchases. They note the data security practices of the target of a deal matter more than ever when acquirers are evaluating deal success rates, relative values and the chances for success in the post-deal integration world.
