Counsel Julian Perlman authored an article published in the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Connect newsletter on Sept. 12, 2019. Titled “In re Foreign Exchange Benchmark Rates Antitrust Litigation, 1-13-cv-07789-1331 (S.D.N.Y Sept. 3, 2019),” the article summarizes a recent opinion from the Southern District of New York that in a case that concerns an alleged conspiracy among banks to fix prices in the foreign exchange market. Despite declining to certify a plaintiff class, the Court proceeded to certify certain issues for class adjudication.
