Associate Lauren Stuy wrote a note titled “Standing as a Barrier for Constitutional Challenges to Civil Ag-Gag Statutes” for the 69th volume, first issue, of the Case Western Reserve Law Review. In the note, she discusses the impact of legislators passing “ag-gag” laws criminalizing undercover investigations of agricultural facilities, subsequently preventing whistleblowers from documenting and disseminating animal abuse witnessed at a facility.
