Cincinnati Summer Program

"I had a unique opportunity to work at the Atlanta and Cincinnati offices. At each office I was welcomed with smiling faces. The type of assignments I received made me feel valued and it was exciting to know that my work is contributing to the firm’s growth. I encourage summer associates to grab lunch or coffee with a different attorney each day – it is such a great opportunity to get to know everyone in the office and for everyone to get to know you."

- Alixandria Davis, 2016 Cincinnati Summer Associate, Current Associate in the Atlanta Office, Emory University School of Law

The Cincinnati summer associate program is designed to give our summer associates as much insight into our practice as possible. We begin the first day with an office tour, employee introductions and each associate receives his/her first assignment. During the first few days, the summer associates attend various orientation sessions regarding office practices, policies and procedures, and technology resources.

Our summer associates are given the opportunity to work on a variety of matters and are encouraged to work with each lawyer in the office. We schedule activities and provide time for socializing with other BakerHostetler lawyers. Our summer associates attend a Cincinnati office golf outing, Red's baseball game, music concert, and a summer party at a partner's home, while the Cincinnati Bar Association also sponsors a number of events which the summer associates are encouraged to attend.

At BakerHostetler, our well-rounded summer program is designed to provide students with the training, experience and confidence necessary to begin the journey to become great lawyers who will enjoy their colleagues and their work.
