CLE Webinar: Consumer Protection Enforcement Priorities ‒ Coronavirus and Beyond

Events / Wednesday, June 17, 2020
Noon - 1 p.m. EDT

As we navigate a path to the “next normal,” state attorneys general continue to act swiftly – tackling consumer fraud, scams, pricegouging and unfair and deceptive business practices. They have made it clear that they will not tolerate businesses seeking to take advantage of consumers’ concerns and fears resulting from the pandemic.

On June 17 BakerHostetler hosted guest speakers Florida Assistant Attorney General Kyle R. Dull and Washington State Assistant Attorney General Shannon E. Smith. Moderated by BakerHostetler partner Alan Friel, our discussion highlighted complaint trends and enforcement activity relating to advertising, marketing and promotional practices as well as privacy and data security practices.
