Webinar: Cyber Risks Facing GCs: What We've Learned From 6 Months of Remote Work

Events / Wednesday, October 21, 2020
3:00 - 4:00 PM EDT

As a result of the rapid shift to a remote workforce earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies have been forced to expand IT systems and cloud capabilities and/or allow the use of file-sharing and meeting communication solutions in less than ideal circumstances. All this combines to amplify cyber and network security risks, which include email-based threats, endpoint-security gaps and other vulnerabilities that hackers are eager to exploit. In fact in April, FBI Deputy Assistant Director Tonya Ugoretz said that the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) has seen complaints quadruple and criminal activities ranging from spoofing legitimate charities to stealing IP from medical research organizations spike. Many organizations have also experienced ransomware attacks as the byproduct of an insecure remote work implementation.

In this webinar, our distinguished panelists will discuss:
  • Vulnerabilities related to working from home
  • Cyber threats businesses should anticipate and how they're evolving
  • Top 5 recommendations to help you protect your organization and secure your data
