On July 20, 2010, Cleveland partner <a href="http://www.bakerlaw.com/johnjmcgowanjr">John McGowan</a> presented the keynote address at an employee benefits seminar sponsored by the Central Florida Human Resource Association (CFHRA).  McGowan spoke on the recently-enacted federal Health Care Reform legislation to approximately 90 human resource professionals from businesses such as Florida Hospital, Save-a-Lot Food Stores, and Hilton Grand Vacation Club. His presentation, entitled "Coping with the 2010 Health Care Reform Acts: A Field Guide for Employers," discussed the various aspects of the legislation and what companies should be doing to put themselves in the best possible position as the legislation phases into effect over the next several years.  McGowan spoke to CFHRA at the invitation of Orlando partner <a href="http://www.bakerlaw.com/patrickmmuldowney">Pat Muldowney</a>, who is the organization&#39;s Past President. CFHRA is a chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world&#39;s largest HR organization, serving Orlando and surrounding counties.
