Please join former Congressman Mike Ferguson, leader of BakerHostetler’s <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/FederalPolicy">Federal Policy</a> team, and former Congressman <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/HeathShuler">Heath Shuler</a>, Senior Advisor for the Federal Policy team, as we continue our bipartisan webinar series with members of both chambers of Congress.

We have heard from a broad range of Republicans and Democrats from the House and Senate. We’ve discussed the congressional response to the pandemic so far, how it is affecting the lawmakers’ own states and communities, and what other actions they believe are necessary.

A return to normalcy may still seem far away, but signs of hope are beginning to emerge. Congress is exploring additional measures to boost the economy as we look ahead to reopening certain segments. We hope you will join us to hear how these talks are progressing and ask your own questions of more key lawmakers.

Please join us on Wednesday, May 13, as we hear from Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y. He is in his fourth term representing areas of Brooklyn and Queens. He serves as Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, the fifth-ranking leadership position among House Democrats. Jeffries is a member of the House Judiciary and Budget committees. He previously served in the New York State Assembly, and was an attorney in private practice and in the litigation departments for Viacom and CBS.
