We also represent fund of fund managers and multifamily offices in the various unique legal needs of these organizations.

The Hedge Fund Team partners with leading industry service providers and has been invited to speak during major industry conferences and webinars, such as the Managed Funds Association and The SkyBridge Alternatives (SALT) conferences. We also contribute articles to industry publications and distribute frequent executive alerts.
SEC Examinations and Other Services
Apart from assisting new and old clients with the formation of their investment funds, the Hedge Fund Industry team assists hedge fund clients in dealing with the SEC examination process. We assist managers in preparing for the examination process by highlighting areas of interest and priorities of the SEC, conducting mock interviews of expected persons to be interviewed by the Staff, organizing and assisting in the document production on a confidential basis to the Staff and responding to Staff inquiries. We also assist the clients in litigation involving trade secrets and investor disputes. We provide tax counsel and other advice on distressed debt investing. We have conducted internal investigations when employees have engaged in wrongdoing. We also help clients with their compliance programs to protect against the risks associated with their business activities.
