Powers to Speak at SALT Conference

Partner and Hedge Fund Industry Services leader Marc Powers will be part of a panel discussing the JOBS Act and its implications for the hedge fund industry on May 9 as part of the Hedge Fund Roundtable at the 2013 SkyBridge Alternatives (SALT) Conference. The panel, titled "JOBS Act: What Does it Mean for Your Firm?" will feature Powers, three other speakers and a moderator. The other panelists include Matthew Newell, Associate General Counsel of the Managed Funds Association, Victor Park, Principal and Founder of Alternative Assets, and Jennifer Prosek, Managing Partner of Prosek Partners. The session will be moderated by Beverly Goodman, Assistant Managing Editor of Barron's.

Partner and an important member of the Hedge Fund Industry Services group Mark Kornfeld will also be in attendance at the conference.

The SALT Conference will be held May 7 through May 10 in Las Vegas. It is designed to facilitate discussion and debate on "macro-economic trends, geo-political events and alternative investment opportunities within the context of a dynamic global economy." The conference attracts more than 1500 attendees each year and features more than 100 speakers ranging from leaders in the financial industry to foreign prime ministers and presidents, celebrities and other individuals of prominence in the global sphere.
