BakerHostetler Attorneys Speak at Annual Cleveland Tax Institute

The 30th annual Cleveland Tax Institute, held Nov. 2 and 3, 2017, featured several BakerHostetler attorneys addressing hot topics in tax law. Partner Ted Bernert chaired a panel discussing an update on Ohio and Cleveland taxes. Partner Michelle Hervey participated in a panel titled “Tax TV – Negotiating the Sale of an S Corporation.” Partner John Lehrer participated on a corporate tax panel. Partner Jeff Paravano gave an update on U.S. tax reform proposals. Partner Edward Ptaszek participated in a panel on pass-through entities. Counsel Christina Novotny participated in a panel on tax aspects of creditor relations. Paravano and Partners Chris Swift and Alex Szilvas are members of the Cleveland Tax Institute’s Executive Committee.
