BakerHostetler is proud to have earned high rankings in two legal diversity surveys recently conducted by Facebook.
The firm was ranked No. 4 when Facebook collected diversity data from 40 of its largest-spend U.S.-based outside law firms. In a similar survey of its largest outside counsel patent teams, BakerHostetler was ranked No. 3 of 20.
Facebook’s scoring methodology includes a number of dimensions: diversity staffing on Facebook matters, meaningful and measurable leadership/high-value opportunities given to the diverse attorneys on Facebook matters, diversity initiatives at the firm and diversity makeup of the incoming partner class. Facebook also considers whether the firm has a diverse relationship partner. In scoring the patent firms, Facebook provided a ranking to the 20 firms with the largest patent teams and provided an individual rating for the four firms with the smallest patent teams.
The top-ranked firms will be recognized by Facebook at a virtual event on May 12, 2021. Partner Jeewon Serrato, Counsel Cory Davis and Senior Advisor Mike Ferguson lead the relationship with Facebook.
