Barron Avery, Kerry Scarlott, Brendan Clark Speak at Ohio Aerospace Institute Program

Partners Barron Avery and Kerry Scarlott, co-leaders of the Aerospace and Defense industry team, were presenters on Sept. 24, 2019, at the Ohio Aerospace Institute’s “Aerospace Perspectives: Past, Present, and the Future” program, held near Cleveland in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing.

Avery shared insights on cybersecurity and supply chain requirements that impact the aerospace industry as well as highlighting the best practices and compliance programs for the aerospace industry to help avoid fraud and false claims in government contracting. Scarlott provided an overview of the recent and anticipated export control requirements impacting the aerospace industry and the changes to regulatory scrutiny and requirements applicable to foreign direct investment in the industry.

Associate Brendan Clark closed out the program, leading a panel discussion with retired NASA Astronaut Michael Foreman and local aerospace industry executives.
