Bruce Sanford Honored by Journalism Organization for Years of Service

News / September 11, 2017

Partner Bruce Sanford has received the Wells Memorial Key for his 37 years of representing the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ). The Wells Key is the highest honor for a member of SPJ and the organization’s president, David Carlson, said it is an honor “far overdue.” Sanford has been SPJ’s attorney since November 1980, representing the membership regarding First Amendment, Freedom of Information, employment, contract, tax and real estate matters. The Wells Memorial Key was first awarded 99 years ago and each year it is given to a member who has performed outstanding service for SPJ.
