News / November 9, 2020

Partner Carole Rendon, a former U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, will serve as moderator on Nov. 10, 2020, at a presentation for members of the Judge John M. Manos Inn of Court on the topic of the Cleveland Police Consent Decree. Five years ago, the City of Cleveland and the United States Department of Justice entered into a historic consent decree to ensure that Cleveland residents will receive the type of policing that the U.S. Constitution guarantees.

Before joining BakerHostetler, Rendon enforced a wide range of criminal and civil statutes, and oversaw and personally handled high-profile civil litigation, including as lead counsel on the Consent Decree providing comprehensive reform for the Cleveland Division of Police.

The Manos Inn of Court is a nonpartisan association of lawyers, judges and other legal professionals.
