Elizabeth McCurrach Talks about "Name, Image, Likeness" Legislation for College Athletes

The article, “College Sports: Sharper Resolution,” discusses proposals now under consideration in nearly 20 states that will allow college athletes to earn income from the use of their names, images and likenesses. McCurrach notes that some states could have “name, image and likeness” (NIL) regulations in place by mid-2020, which would give them a recruiting advantage, even though the NCAA is still working on a nationwide policy.
