News / March 11, 2020

Partner Eric Goodman is quoted in Bloomberg Law, the San Francisco Chronicle, the North Bay Business Journal and The Press Democrat on March 10-11, 2020, regarding a tentative deal with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the state of California over $4 billion in the claims the agencies sought from Pacific Gas & Electric related to the devastating wildfires in Northern California. Speaking on behalf of the victims’ committee, Goodman said, “Until the fire victims are all paid in full, FEMA will get nothing” and “Those claims are no longer a threat to victims getting paid.” The settlement received widespread coverage.
