Partners Irving Picard and David Sheehan are featured in an article published Nov. 30, 2018, by The Wall Street Journal. The article, “The Amazing Madoff Clawback,” describes the 10 years of work by Picard, the court-appointed trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities, and Sheehan, Picard’s chief counsel, that has resulted in the recovery of more than $13 billion stolen in the largest financial fraud in U.S. history. The recovered funds, which are returned to victims of the scheme, represent more than 75 cents for every dollar stolen.
