Lisa Collins Honored as a "Board Champion" in Atlanta Diversity & Inclusion Awards

Partner Lisa Collins is an honoree in the 2020 Diversity & Inclusion Awards presented by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Collins is named as a “Board Champion,” an honor that recognizes an individual who serves on a board(s) and uses their position to help drive diversity initiatives within the organization.

Collins is the Chair of BakerHostetler’s Black Affinity Group as well as a member of the firmwide Diversity Council. She co-leads the Inclusion and Diversity Committee in the BakerHostetler Atlanta office and serves on the Hiring Committee. In the community, Collins serves as a board member for the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys’ Foundation and for Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. Additionally, she is President of the Georgetown Club of Metropolitan Atlanta and serves as a Governor and Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the Georgetown University Board of Governors.

The award will be presented in a virtual event on Nov. 12, 2020. The publication says the awards “honor the leaders and revolutionaries who are embracing equality across all areas of diversity, including age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race and religion”
