<p>Partner Lynn Sessions is quoted in an article published Nov. 30, 2020, by Law360. The article, “Bogus HIPAA Claims are Flourishing as Pandemic Worsens,” discusses the rise in false assertions about the privacy protections of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. “This is just such a politically charged — rightfully or wrongfully — scenario that we have right now,” Sessions told Law360. “We&#39;re seeing a lot of different laws and regulations being thrown out there to justify whatever position [someone] is taking.”</p>  <p><a href="https://www.law360.com/articles/1331378">Read the article (registration required)</a>.</p>
