Mark Barron Comments on Federal Judge's Decision to Ax BLM's Hydraulic Fracturing

Mark Barron was quoted in an article published June 22, 2016, in Natural Gas Intelligence. The article, “Federal Judge Rules BLM Fracking Oversight Unlawful,” provides information on the ruling U.S. District Judge Scott Skavdahl issued, setting aside a rule the Bureau of Land Management issued in March 2015 to govern hydraulic fracturing on federal and Indian lands. Barron, who led the BakerHostetler team that represented the Western Energy Alliance and Independent Petroleum Association of America in their opposition to the rule, explained that, “[f]rom the beginning, the fracking rule has been a solution in search of a problem.”
