Mark Cymrot Talks to Law360 After Federal Judge Reinstates Firm as Defense Counsel in Tax Fraud Case

Partner Mark Cymrot talked to Law360 after a New York federal judge reversed himself and allowed the firm to continue to serve as defense counsel in a civil money laundering lawsuit over an alleged $230 million tax fraud on the Russian Treasury. Cymrot and John Moscow are representing Cyprus-based Prevezon Holdings Ltd. and other companies owned by Denis Katsyv who invested in New York real estate. Cymrot told Law360 that his client came to the United States believing he would get a fair trial and is “anxious to start trial to clear his name.”
