National Law Journal Covers Andrew Grossman's Supreme Court Challenge to Union Exclusive Representation

The National Law Journal’s “Supreme Court Brief” – required reading for High Court practitioners and followers – highlighted Partner Andrew Grossman’s recently filed First Amendment challenge to state laws compelling public workers to accept union representation. The case is Uradnik v. Inter Faculty Organization, and the “Supreme Court Brief” identifies it as a follow-on to last term’s blockbuster Janus decision, in which Grossman also participated. The case has big stakes for the federal government and many state and local governments and is being avidly followed by employers in the private and public sectors. There’s a good chance, the article concludes, that the Supreme Court will agree to hear the challenge.
