NYC Bar Association Compliance Committee Presents 'Chief Compliance Officer Fireside Chat'

Partner Patrick Campbell serves as chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Compliance Committee, which is hosting a “Chief Compliance Officer Fireside Chat” on Monday, March 11, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the City Bar. The inaugural event, co-sponsored by the firm, features a distinguished panel of Chief Compliance Officers from some of the most well-known firms in the financial industry -- James Capezzuto from Oppenheimer; Halit Coussin from Pershing Square; Bruce Karpati from KKR; and Michael McMaster from BNY Mellon -- as well as Jennifer Duggins, co-head of the Private Funds Unit at the SEC and a former CCO. The panel will offer frank, honest accounts of their careers, the challenges they’ve faced along the way and advice for those interested in joining or advancing in the compliance profession. A networking reception will follow.
