Partner Robert Julian is quoted in an article published on Dec. 10, 2020, by Financial Times, in a special report on “North America Innovative Lawyers.” The article, “Legal Collaboration Led to PG&E Deal for Victims of Wildfires,” examines how Julian and the BakerHostetler team successfully negotiated a $25.5 billion settlement on behalf of the committee of tort plaintiffs in the devasting California wildfires of 2018.

“The biggest problem in the case was that there were thousands of northern Californians whose lives were totally upended and destroyed,” Julian told the publication. “It was a challenge for us to repeatedly get that point across.”
