Several BakerHostetler Attorneys Featured at Annual Cleveland Tax Institute

The 59th annual Cleveland Tax Institute, held Nov. 30-Dec. 1, 2016, featured several BakerHostetler attorneys addressing hot topics in tax law. Partners Jeff Paravano and Paul Schmidt participated in a session on “Current Developments and Washington Update,” that also featured U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci (R-Ohio). Partner Ted Bernert joined a panel on “State and Local Tax Update.” Partner John Lehrer spoke at a session on “Corporate Tax and Related Topics” and Counsel Ellen Halfon was part of a panel covering “Tax Exempt Organizations: Charitable Giving Options and Private Foundation Exit Strategies.”
