Partner Ted Bernert is quoted in an article published on Dec. 23, 2020, by Bloomberg’s Daily Tax Report. The article, “Cities the Next Frontier in Work-From-Home Tax Rule Disputes,” reports on issues and lawsuits facing municipalities that impose city wage taxes even though a large part of the workforce has spent months working from home.  The situation raises questions for what’s next for city and state tax policy after pandemic orders are lifted, and many employees continue working from home, Bernert told the publication.
