BakerHostetler Adds Employee Benefits Partner in Cleveland

Ann M. Caresani comes to BakerHostetler after serving as chair of Tucker Ellis LLP's employee benefits and executive compensation practice

CLEVELAND — April 17, 2019 — BakerHostetler announced today that Ann M. Caresani has joined the firm as a partner in its employee benefits practice, where she’ll add decades of experience offering practical and strategic business advice to clients. She arrives from Tucker Ellis LLP, where she was chair of the firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation practice.

Caresani brings to the firm a broad practice she’s developed throughout her more than 25 years practicing law. She practices in all facets of employee benefits law, including executive compensation, tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plan matters, ERISA litigation, representation before governmental agencies and in transactional matters.

A certified public accountant with an MBA to go along with her broad legal skill set, Caresani also advises business owners, board members, executives, in-house counsel and professional service advisers on their strategic objectives, including business succession planning and mergers and acquisitions.
