CINCINNATI — Jan. 6, 2020 — BakerHostetler today announced that W. Ashley Hess has been named its next Cincinnati office partner-in-charge, effective Jan. 1. Hess succeeds David G. “Over the past decade, Ashley’s leadership and deep commitment to client service has been exemplary,” said BakerHostetler Chairman Paul Schmidt. “I have no doubt we will see the continued success in our Cincinnati office under his leadership. I’d also like to thank Dave Holcombe for his dedication. Throughout his nearly 40 years at BakerHostetler, he has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the firm and played a key role in building our Cincinnati office.”

I look forward to the continued work delivering excellent service and practical solutions to our clients in the region,” said Hess. “Dave set the precedent for what leadership should look like over the past 12 years, and I congratulate him on all that he’s achieved.”

“Ashley’s experience in law and in life have well prepared him to lead as partner-in-charge of our Cincinnati office,” said Holcombe. “He has the integrity, judgment and dedication to continue the Cincinnati’s office commitment to serving our clients, our community, and each other as colleagues.
