Press Releases / December 10, 2020

WASHINGTON, D.C., Dec 10, 2020 — The BTI Consulting Group, Inc., of Wellesley, Mass., announced that three BakerHostetler partners have been named as 2020 BTI Client Service All-Stars.

Partners Suzanne K. Hanselman, Craig A. Hoffman and Kevin W. Kirsch were named as this year’s recipients and are recognized as attorneys that “impress corporate counsel with their keen understanding of business impacts and unwavering commitment to client objectives.” This is the seventh consecutive year BakerHostetler attorneys have been recognized by BTI.

“Few firms boast three or more BTI Client Service All-Stars,” says Michael B. Rynowecer, The BTI Consulting Group President, who directs the survey. “BakerHostetler’s roster of BTI Client All-Stars shows a history of this elite performance over time, a particularly difficult feat.”

Suzanne Hanselman

A prominent chemicals company nominated Suzanne Hanselman. Hanselman provides counsel to companies for day-to-day corporate issues, ensures compliance with federal securities law and provides guidance to general counsel. She sees her connection with clients as a partnership, making clients feel that she is a part of their team while she works to navigate their needs and concerns. Hanselman is the business development leader for the firm’s Cleveland office and a member of the national Women’s Steering Committee. She is ranked in Chambers USA and is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America©. She was also named a BTI Client Service All-Star in 2008 and 2016.

Craig Hoffman

Two major retailers nominated Craig Hoffman. Hoffman is co-leader of the Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity team. Clients turn to Hoffman to address the privacy compliance, operational and security related enterprise risks generated by their use of technology, such as data security incidents, post-incident regulatory defense and litigation, incident response preparedness and more. He is recognized by Chambers USA, The Legal 500 and has been selected multiple times as an Acritas Star. Hoffman was named an MVP and a Super All Star by BTI and this is his fourth time being named a Client Service All-Star – he was also named in the 2014, 2017 and 2019 reports.

Kevin Kirsch

A large manufacturing company nominated Kevin Kirsch. Kirsch is the co-leader of the firm’s Patent Litigation team. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has represented companies in more than 100 patent litigation matters. Kirsch also has experience litigating trademark, copyright, trade dress and trade secret claims. He is ranked in Chambers USA in the area of Intellectual Property, The Best Lawyers in America©, as an IP Star for Ohio and the United States by Managing Intellectual Property, and in the Legal 500. Kirsch was also one of only 25 intellectual property attorneys in the United States selected as a 2015 BTI Client Service All-Star.

Now in its 19th year of publication, The BTI Client Service All-Stars is the gold standard used by corporate counsel and law firms alike to identify the attorneys delivering the absolute best levels of client service. Only 475 attorneys across the country received this distinction and BakerHostetler is one of 87 firms nationwide with more than two All-Stars.
