Justin has advocated for clients in state and federal courts across the country and before various arbitral bodies, always with a focus on aligning legal strategy with business objectives. From pre-dispute counseling through trial, Justin handles all aspects of litigation and regularly advises transactional teams on litigation risks associated with contemplated, active and closed deals. He also conducts internal investigations for both public and private companies, helping clients navigate sensitive issues with discretion and clarity.

<li>Private equity firm in litigation alleging fraudulent inducement into a merger. Secured dismissal with prejudice at the pleading stage, and argued and won appeal from that judgment.</li>
<li>The manager of a critical minerals company in litigation alleging share dilution in a take-private transaction. Argued and won motion to dismiss before the Delaware Court of Chancery on jurisdictional and merits grounds.</li>
<li>Multinational aerospace company in arbitration over allegedly defective aircraft components. Second chaired two-week hearing on the merits and cross-examined fact and expert witnesses.</li>
<li>Entertainment company in litigation arising out of termination of founding member. Secured dismissal with prejudice on the pleadings in two successive lawsuits.</li>
<li>Consumer goods manufacturer in litigation arising under Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, relating to alleged unlawful trafficking in property confiscated by the Cuban Government. Secured dismissal on jurisdictional grounds after four years of litigating the pleadings.</li>
<li>Multinational electronics manufacturer in litigation over a failed electric vehicle startup.</li>
<li>Concessionaire of a large public university utility system in ongoing dispute over utility fees, key performance indicators and performance standards.</li>
<li>International bank in litigation arising from foreign sovereign debt-linked derivatives transactions. Secured dismissal with prejudice on appeal from denial of motion to dismiss.</li>
<li>Receiver of foreign banks in cross-border bankruptcy litigation arising from an industry collapse. Secured indefinite stay of U.S. litigation in favor of litigation abroad.</li>
<li>International bank in residential mortgage-backed securities litigation. Successfully petitioned for mandamus to prevent jurisdictional discovery, bringing an end to the case.</li>
<li>Member of prominent New York City real estate development company as plaintiff in litigation over LLC governance.</li>
<li>Whistleblowers in DOJ and SEC investigations into alleged government contract accounting fraud and as non-party witnesses in securities class action and SEC administrative proceeding.</li>
<li>Bankrupt telecommunications company in cross-border litigation over allocation of a $7 billion asset pool.</li>
<li>Acted as sole clerk to two Special Masters appointed to oversee discovery in a civil RICO action alleging that a multibillion-dollar foreign judgment was obtained through fraud.</li>
