Kareem A. Salem is a former federal prosecutor and prominent litigator with significant experience overseeing large-scale cyber investigations and prosecutions for the National Security and Cybercrimes Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office – Southern District of California. He has a deep and technical understanding of cyber attacks and intrusions as well as complex state and federal court proceedings. He has tried more than 40 cases to verdict and earned prestigious awards for his investigative and trial skills. As a member of the Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity and Privacy and Digital Risk Class Action and Litigation teams, Kareem draws on his unique enforcement background to assist and guide clients from the onset of a security incident up to and including all stages of complex litigation.
