Brian Bash has extensive experience in bankruptcy and commercial law and has represented banks, securities firms and corporations in bankruptcy proceedings. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, he was Chair of the Bankruptcy Group in a Cleveland law firm. Mr. Bash also has extensive experience in fraud cases, including the Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities SIPA proceeding and the Fair Finance Company bankruptcy.

Mr. Bash was an adjunct professor of commercial law at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and is a member of the Federal Court Mediation Panel; the Cleveland Metropolitan and American Bar Associations; and the Commercial Law League of America. Mr. Bash is a Panel Trustee and member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. He is listed as a leading insolvency expert by Chambers Publishing, Euromoney Publications, Woodward & White in The Best Lawyers in America and has been named an “Ohio Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics.
