Nationally recognized for their defense work, our Houston-based Employment attorneys have extensive experience in litigation, administrative proceedings and client counseling. The Energy Team also provides comprehensive counsel to U.S.-based independent exploration and production companies and oilfield services providers.
• Global Trade—The Houston Global Trade practice regularly counsels companies in matters involving international trade regulations, including customs laws and export controls. We advise clients worldwide and have significant experience representing clients before U.S. and foreign courts and regulatory agencies.
• Healthcare—Our attorneys counsel hospitals, health systems, physician groups, specialty organizations, ancillary service providers, pharmaceutical companies and suppliers, long-term care facilities and other industry interests. We represent our healthcare industry clients in Texas and throughout the United States on a full range of transactional, operational, regulatory, compliance, policy, reimbursement and privacy issues.
• Motor Vehicle and Heavy Equipment—The Houston office represents domestic and foreign manufacturers in the motor vehicle and heavy equipment industry. We advise manufacturers regarding buy/sell agreements, dealership financing, contract drafting, floor planning and trademark issues, and represent manufacturers in state and federal court, and before administrative agencies.
• Real Estate—We represent some of the country’s largest pension funds, national real estate advisory companies, title companies and closely held development corporations. The firm offers counseling in a variety of transactions including the formation of ownership entities through the acquisition, financing, development, and leasing of real property, asset sales and disposition, and commercial leasing. The Houston office also represents clients in the disposition and leasing of oil and gas properties.
