Lisa Roberts-Mamone focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning and wealth transfer for high net worth individuals and families.
Lisa has extensive experience in advising multigenerational families on a wide variety of planning matters, including testamentary planning (wills and revocable trusts), business succession planning, charitable giving and lifetime planning and gifting (for example, insurance trusts, grantor trusts, GRATs, installment sales, dynasty trusts, family limited partnerships and limited liability companies), with an emphasis on techniques that maximize the exemptions available under U.S. estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax laws. She also handles estate and trust administrations and has successfully represented a number of estates in connection with complex audit matters. Her clients include wealthy individuals and their family members, owners of closely held businesses, entrepreneurs, executives and family offices, as well as executors, trustees and beneficiaries in estate and trust controversies.
Lisa is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Section) and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Section). She is a member of University Hospitals of Cleveland’s Diamond Advisory Board, Case Western Reserve University’s Professional Advisory Board, the Planned Giving Advisory Committee for the American Red Cross of Cleveland and a Trustee of the Laub Foundation, a private foundation that benefits local educational institutions.
