Lisa Ghannoum practices in the areas of white collar defense and corporate investigations and general commercial litigation in both federal and state courts. Ms. Ghannoum has represented individual and corporate clients in formal and informal investigations by the United States Attorney’s Office, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Bureau of Investigations and other state and local authorities. She has assisted in corporate internal investigations on behalf of clients in a variety of industries, including banking/financial, healthcare and manufacturing. Ms. Ghannoum has worked on general litigation matters, including commercial disputes, antitrust and trade regulation, class action and legal malpractice cases. She has also assisted clients in pro bono immigration and criminal matters.
During law school, Ms. Ghannoum published a note in the Case Western Reserve University Law Review titled, “The Tainted Decision-Making Approach: A Solution For The Mixed Messages Batson Gets From Employment Discrimination,” 56 Case W. Res. L. Rev. 769 (2006).
Ms. Ghannoum is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, Ohio, Federal and American Bar Associations. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the ABA White Collar Crime Section for the Midwest/Ohio Region and as Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Subcommittee.
