Melissa Brown assists clients in a variety of commercial and healthcare-related business transactions and related matters. Her practice has been concentrated in the field of real estate transactions where she has represented both publicly and privately held healthcare companies. She is responsible for large commercial healthcare-related real estate portfolios across the country.
Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Ms. Brown served as Corporate Counsel for a Houston-based real estate management and development company where she assisted the company on a variety of day-to-day general corporate matters and real estate transactions. Her experience includes entity formation, landlord-tenant disputes, lease negotiations, purchase and sale of property interests and drafting and negotiating provisions in various types of contracts.
